ABSTRACT

While many competencies of network and security engineering are taught in training classes and university curriculum, network diagramming is often completely ignored. Understanding how to build a useful and understandable network diagram might seem trivial. However, with a few simple guidelines, you can build a diagram that can be enlightening rather than confusing-which can be important when time is of the essence.
