Africa Peering and Interconnection Forum (AfPIF) conferences have provided opportunities for discussing and addressing technical challenges and opportunities for Internet development in Africa, particularly around the establishment of Internet exchange points (IXPs). They've also provided a unique opportunity for participants to build personal relationships for sharing problems, solutions, and successes.
