NC: An Acronym Revisited
March-April 1997 (vol. 1 no. 2)
pp. 81-82

Today, NC is also being used to represent a new class of device dubbed by Oracle and others the "Network Computer." While the two are unrelated in any intentional sense, they do bear an interesting resemblance.
