ABSTRACT
Our civilization has long recognized the significance of creativity in every discipline and field of human endeavor. The authors model synthetic creativity in an ant colony. They introduce two new, creative types of foraging behavior and then, through computer simulation, measure their impact on performance through innovative metric design.
