<p>At the end of the 20th century, many organizations are rethinking the way they do business and are retooling with that ever-moving target of "new technologies." NASA is no exception. Business school-ese such as "lower life-cycle mission cost" and "smaller-faster-cheaper" is creeping into NASA's astrophysics and engineering vocabulary of "ion propulsion," "interferometry," and "immobots."</p>
