Fans of Hewlett-Packard Calculators Say "It All Adds Up"
March/April 2002 (vol. 4 no. 2)
pp. 5-8

Rarer still is such a passion engendered not by a sweetheart, but by a beloved toy or tool reminiscent of a time gone by. Yet such passions are not impossible. "Rosebud," the dying word uttered by Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, was not the name of a wife or mistress, but rather that of his boyhood sled.
