Don't Trust Your Eyes: Cutting-Edge Visual Effects

Computer-generated imagery (CGI) in films has advanced to the point that it's often difficult for viewers to figure out which scenes have visual effects in them. Two CGI effects that illustrate the state of the art are facial animation and fluid dynamics.
