Book Reviews (PDF)
October 1980 (vol. 13 no. 10)
pp. 134-135
The authors state in the preface that "the text introduces abstract concepts, shows how those concepts are useful in problem solving, and thern shows how the abstractions can be made concrete by using a programming language." This excellent, well-written book more than lives up to its promise.
