Southern California Edison Company has come up with a system of matching people with energy-saving suggestions. The project is the latest in a series of conservation efforts begun in the early 1970's. Using an IBM System/370 Model 168 multiprocessor computer, the electric utility can suggest customized energy conservation ideas for the more than two million homes it serves in Southern and Central California.
