ABSTRACT
<p>This article summarizes current state-of-the-art approaches to large-scale urban modeling. Technologies and systems are classified into photogrammetry, active-sensor, and hybrid techniques. The advantages and disadvantages of each technique and point to possible future approaches are discussed.</p>
