Fast Texture Transfer
July/August 2003 (vol. 23 no. 4)
pp. 38-43
Michael Ashikhmin, Stony Brook University

A simple technique for fast texture transfer between images can produce quality results similar to current state of the art methods but at a fraction of the cost. The article demonstrates several application of the method including artistic style transfer, image enhancement, and novel nonphotorealistic filter creation.
