ABSTRACT
His biography states that Mike Mott lives in Starkeville, Mississippi, with his wife, "four children, three dogs, and a wide variety of trolls, goblins, and other frozen monstrosities." Frozen monstrosities do seem to be his specialty. On the front cover, a pharaoh sits smiling among the swirling gasses in "Martian Dreams." In Final Focus, an ominous orb hangs over the alien landscape in "Moon over Mongo." And below, a stone giant rises from the oily water of an otherworldly marsh in "Lemuria Lost 2." Each image invites the viewer into the fantastic, surreal world of the picture.
