High-resolution graphics at 111. "Digital scene simulation" Is the term the Motion Picture Project at Information International, Inc., Culver City, California, applies to their computer graphics work for clients in the entertainment industry. Demonstrating III's current capabilities, the scenes we present here were created using proprietary software which enables a designer to select and locate objects, choose their size and orientation, and specify their lighting and texture. Earlier high-resolution work by Ill has appeared in our sister magazine, Computer-see the covers of the March and November 1978 and August 1979 issues as well as the discussions and pictures in Ware Myers' article, "Computer Graphics: The Need for Graphics Design," in the July 1981 issue.
